OUR MISSION

Our mission is to promote education, create opportunities for economic security and ensure a well-informed citizenry in all communities we operate. We intent to achieve our mission through the following goals.

- Achieve a 98% literacy rate on all targeted communities for persons from 5 – 18 years old.
- Maintain an unemployment rate of 5% or below on all targeted communities for the adult working population
- Promote civic engagement and networking to ensure a well-informed society.

OUR STORY

The Co-Founders have a mentor/mentee relationship for over 18 years and value self-development through education. They came up with an idea of making a difference and contributing to national development in The Gambia around January 2017 in the Gambia. The Co-Founders reach out to friends, family and neighbors within Latrikunda to identify youths having financial difficulties in pursuing higher education. Through donated funds, scholarships are granted to qualified applicants based on competence and need. The Foundation also engages in Civic education awareness around the Latrikunda community.
